Rustam Minnikhanov attends Russia Sberbank's business lunch
The event took place within the World Economic Forum in Davos.
(Kazan, January 27, Tatar-inform). President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has attended a business lunch, on behalf of Sberabnk of Russia arranged within the World Economic Forum in Davos, the president’s press service reports.
Rustam Minnikhanov was accompanied by President of Tatarstan Department of External Relations and aide on international affairs Iskander Muflikhanov, and Tatneft general director Shafagat Takhautdinov. The event’s moderator was Sberbank president and board chairman German Gref.
Confirmed attendees of the lunch were, in particular, Russia government first deputy chairman Igor Shuvalov, Lukoil president Vagit Alekperov, Skolkovo Fund president Viktor Vekselberg, Russia’s former finance minister Alexei Kudrin and others.
The lunch was themed “The new Russia, new Europe: grand transformations”. The attendees exchanged views on how the economic and social environment in Russia and Europe would change, what was going to happen with the eurozone, how the developments would influence Russia, how the political institutions would transform and how it would impact people’s lives.
Answering on Thursday on Twitter to the user Timerhan07 who asked “Dear Rustam Nurgalievich, what is the atmosphere in Davos? Is there concern or fear related to the eurozone crisis?”, Tatarstan president said briefly, “there are concerns”.
