Spring crops grain filled in for 2012 harvest in Tatarstan in amount of 385.5 thousand tonnes

(Kazan, January 21, Tatar-inform, Irina Ignatieva). A total of 385.5 thousand tonnes of spring crops grain has been filled in in Tatarstan for the 2012 harvest, the Rosselkhoztsentr authority told Tatar-inform.
Of the examined grains, 363.6 tonnes, or 97 percent, is said to be compliant with the standard.
Standard-compliant seeds meet all quality requirements for purity, viability, moisture content and others. In 14 regions of Tatarstan, all grains laid in for the winter are said to be up to standard. In the other regions the quality varies between 86 and 99.9 percent of the seeds.
In the Arsk, Zelenodolsk and Laishev regions only original, select, highly reproductive seeds have been laid in, which should directly influence this year’s crops.
