The event will take place as part of Tatarstan National Museum’s 115th anniversary.

(Kazan, September 2, Tatar-Inform). International Museum Forum starts in Kazan on September 14. The event is organized as part of jubilee celebrations of Tatarstan National Museum’s 115th anniversary, RT Ministry of Culture press-service informs.

Representatives of museums from Russia and foreign countries – Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and Lithuania have been invited. Head of largest Russian museums are expected to take part in the forum – the State Hermitage, the State Museum of History, the Russian Museum, the Russian Ethnographic Museum and others.

International scientific-practical conference “Museum and society: current models of integration” will be organized as part of the forum. Scientific sections, problem seminars and roundtable discussions will be held.

The forum is held with organization and financial support of Tatarstan Government and Tatarstan Ministry of Culture.
