The city mayor congratulated Kazan University on moving to the new residence – the Village of the Universiade-2013.

(Kazan, Sepember 1, Tatar-Inform, Kristina Ivanova). Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin congratulated the first residents of the Universiade-2013 Village on their new home.

The mayor assessed the conditions created in the Games Village for students and in 2013 – for participants of the World Student Games. Head of Kazan, as well as first-year students of Kazan Federal University, were very satisfied with what they saw in the buildings.

Ilsur Metshin emphasized that the Universiade-2013 Village is the territory of healthy lifestyle. There is the list of ten violations punished by dispossession, such as smoking, drinking alcohol, fights, drugs, making noise, switching on music from 10 pm till 7 am.

In FISU experts’ opinion, Kazan Universiade Village is the best in logistics, comfort, safety in the history of the World Student Games organizations. “No university in Russia and the CIS has such conditions,” Ilsur Metshin said.
