Kazan to host Volga federal region’s festival "No To Extremism"

The festival includes workshops on exchange of experience in fighting extremism and terrorism.
(Kazan, August 31, Tatar-inform). The 2nd Volga federal region’s student festival called No To Extremism will on September 6 to 9 be held in Kazan. The event’s geography has this year expanded, to include Samara, Ulianovsk and Kazan. Participants from all the Volga federal region’s parts will be assembled.Workshops on exchange of experience in fighting extremism and terrorism will be held in the said cities, a rally in memory of the terror victims, round-table discussions of issues related to extremism and terrorism, a themed photo exhibition, concerts dedicated to the Russian people’s unity in the fight against extremism and terrorism are scheduled to take place.
The Tatarstan’s capital will meet the festival’s participants on September 8, the organisers say at the official website.
