Charles Aznavour received the highest award of the Russian Art Festival in Cannes.

(Kazan, August 25, Tatar-Inform). Well-known French singer of Armenian origin Charles Aznavour on Tuesday received the highest award of the Russian Art Festival in Cannes, the honorary award “For Outstanding Contribution to the Strengthening of Cultural Relations between Russia and France,” Itar-Tass reports.

The ceremony was held during the Russian Night at the Cannes Palais des Festivals. The festival is held under the umbrella of Russian First Lady Svetlana Medvedeva.
