Lawns on a space of 120 thousand square metres have been laid out, flower beds built on 55 thousand square metres, 45 volume figures and 700 vertical landscaping units arranged with flowers. A total of 3.5 million pieces of flower plants have been built at greenhouses owned by the Gorvodzelenkhoz municipal firm, the company said at a Business Monday meeting today.

Urban sanitation, transport and medical help, public order and traffic and fire safety are issues that the work is focused on.

The number of mobile emergency medical teams will on the day of celebration be increased to 80, infirmaries will be arranged at the sites of mass festivities.
