Cirque du Soleil will stay in Kazan until September 26. Actors will present 44 shows.

(Kazan, August 23, Tatar-Inform, Nina Narykova). People of Kazan saw the premiere show “Corteo” of the world-wide known Cirque du Soleil on Saturday night. Tatarstan capital was looking forward to the artists’ arrival – a lot of positive reviews of “Corteo” appeared in the media. Everyone had a desire to see the story by Daniel Finzi Pasca.

Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin was shocked when he had seen the show in the past. As he confessed, it was his dream to bring the show to Kazan. On Saturday his dream came true.

The organizers were quite confident that the Russian audience will like “Corteo”. “The most romantic one. Just for the Russian soul,” Vice-Chairman of Cirque du Soleil Craig Cohan said. It turned out he was right.

Cirque du Soleil will stay in Kazan until September 26. Actors will present 44 shows. Kazan mayor has an idea to invite the circus at the Universiade opening and to bring a summer street show.
