The event will be held as part of the Year of Russia and France.

(Kazan, August 20, Tatar-Inform). The Week of French Films will be held in Kazan on September 3-10 as part of the Year of Russia and France.

10 French films of different genres and on different topics will be presented at the festival. A retrospective of Alain Resnais’s film will be shown for classic fans.

The film festival organizers are “Alliance Francaise – Kazan” center of the French language and culture, state institution “Tatarkino”, cinema theater “Mir” with support of Tatarstan Ministry of Culture, France Embassy in Russia, RT Ministry of Culture press-service informed.
