The forum will take place on August 27-31.

(Kazan, August 19, Tatar-Inform, Lutsia Kamalova). 550 delegates from Tatarstan, other Russian regions, Australia, Canada, the United States, Turkey, China, Ukraine, Belarus will take part in the 4th World Tatar Youth Forum on August 27-31 in Kazan.

A press conference on the forthcoming event was held at the World Congress of Tatars building on Thursday. The World Congress of Tatars executive officer Milyausha Gumerova, Chairman of the World Forum of Tatars Bureau Ruslan Aisin answered journalists’ questions.

“The purpose of the forum is the same – to unite Tatar youth, getting acquainted with the national, spiritual culture values, communication,” Ruslan Aisin said.

One of the main topics at the 4th World Tatar Youth Forum will be the forthcoming census of population. Moreover, the Universiade of 2013 in Tatarstan capital will also be discussed.

This year, the forum is to take place during the holy month of Ramadan and celebration of the Republic of Tatarstan formation 20th anniversary.

Delegates will take part in festive events on the Day of the Republic, attend the solemn ceremony of awarding the Tukai State Award-2010. The forum guests are expected to go to Arsk region and visit Gabdullah Tukai’s Museum in Kyrlay Village.
