After the tour around the Kazan Kremlin, FIFA representatives met with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

(Kazan, August 19, Tatar-Inform). The FOFA inspection group members visited Kul Sharif Mosque and the Annunciation Cathedral in the Kazan Kremlin as part of their trip to the republic of Tatarstan on Wednesday.

After the tour around the Kazan Kremlin, FIFA representatives met with the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

“In such a short period of time we tried to show you what Kazan is like and demonstrate our readiness to host the football world championship,” Rustam Minnikhanov said at the meeting.

As he noted, Kazan has serious support at the federal level on this issue. Rustam Minnikhanov assured the FIFA group members that all plans on preparation of sports objects will have beem realized by the end of the next year already.

President of Chili Football Federation Harold Mayne Niccolls head the FIFA inspection group. Other members are Director General of the Football World Championship in South Africa Danny Jordan, head of the FIFA Application Department Yurgen Muller (Germany), FIFA media officer Wolfgang Eichler (Austria) and others.

Russian Minister of Sports, Tourism and Youth Policy Vitaly Mutko is accompanying the FIFA commission, Tatarstan Presidential press-service informs.
