(Kazan, August 18, Tatar-inform). Russia President Dmitry Medvedev has approved a list of instructions after a meeting dealing with measures aimed to stabilise the situation on the domestic grain market.
In particular, the head of state demanded conducting an urgent survey of the movement of prices of the basic foods, including flour, bread, meat and milk, on the internal market, and responding immediately if breaches of the Russian Federation’s laws are revealed.
To restore the solvency of the agricultural producers affected by the 2010's drought, and to provide conditions for them to perform sowing work, Medvedev demanded to consider relending, restructuring and extending the loans issued to such producers, as well as deferring leasing payments on concluded agricultural machinery lease agreements.
