4,000 computers delivered to Tatarstan schools as part of presidential project

All deliveries will have been completed until September 1.

(Kazan, July 29, Tatar-Inform, Kristina Ivanova). About 4,000 units of hardware have been delivered to secondary education institutions as part of Tatarstan President’s initiative “Computer to Schools”. Tatarstan Vice-Premier – Minister of Informatization and Communication Nikolai Nikiforov told Tatar-Inform agency about it.

Realization of two projects that have no analogues in the country – “Computer to Schools” and “Laptop to Teachers” has started in the republic. The projects are being realized on the initiative of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov as part of the Year of Teacher. 450 million rubles have been allocated for this purpose from the republican budget. It is expected the computer park at the Republic of Tatarstan schools will be fully renewed and all school teachers will receive personal laptops in two-three years.

“Delivery is in full swing,” Nikolai Nikiforov said. “About 4 thousand new computers have been delivered to republican schools by July 28 evening. Everything is going according to the schedule.”
