The number of federal special-purpose programs will increase in the budget for 2011.

(Kazan, July 29, Tatar-Inform). The number of federal special-purpose programs will increase in the budget for 2011. After the previous programs are in no effect any longer and new programs will have been drafted their overall number will grow by ten programs as against 2010, Minister of Economic Development Elvira Nabiullina told reporters after a government meeting on Thursday.

“As far as the number of federal targeted programs is concerned, 53 programs are funded in 2010 and 63 programs will be funded in 2011,” the minister is quoted as saying by Itar-Tass.

These federal special-purpose programs will accumulate more than 980 billion roubles, as this figure is 928 billion roubles this year, she pointed out. Nabiullina emphasized that a budget is being drafted, particularly some amendments may be introduced on these provisions before the draft budget is submitted to the State Duma.
