Some events of the forum will be dedicated to the World Summer Student Games-2013 in Kazan.

(Kazan, July 29, Tatar-Inform). The international forum “Russia – Country of Sports” dated to the 30th anniversary of the 22nd Olympic Games-1980 in Moscow will take place in the Russian capital on July 29-August 1.

The key event of the forum is the exhibition “Modern Sports. Innovations and Prospects” where Tatarstan exposition will be presented at one of central spots. The projects of the Republic of Tatarstan expositions include the Universiade Village – one of the key sites of the World Summer Student Games in Kazan. The exhibition visitor will have an opportunity to get acquainted with the project of the International center, which will be used for accreditation of sportsmen, the Tennis Academy, Rowing Sports Center, the football stadium for 45,000 seats, and Water Sports Palace.

Other events of the international forum schedule include official meetings, scientific-practical conferences, roundtable discussions, seminars, and also the 2nd International Sports Film Festival.

Some events will be dedicated to the World Summer Student Games-2013 in Kazan. Memorandum on Intentions on creating the international education center FISU in Russia will be signed on July 30. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Sports, Tourism and Youth Policy Vitaly Mutko, chairman of the Russian Student Sports Union Oleg Matytsin and other officials will take part in the event.

The first forum “Russia – Country of Sports” was held in Kazan on October 22-25, 2009, the press-service of “Kazan-2013” Executive Directorate informs.
