(Kazan, July 28, Tatar-Inform). In accordance with RT President’s Edict from July 28, 2010, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov has been appointed the new economy minister of the Republic of Tatarstan. RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov has introduced the new head of the ministry to the staff today.

For your information: Shagiakhmetov Midkhat Rafkatovich was born on November 5, 1969 in Kazan. In 1991, he graduated from Kazan Finances and Economic Institute in Economic and Social Planning major.

He headed the Federal Taxes Service Board for the Republic of Tatarstan from March 1, 2007. He worked as Tatarstan Prime Minister’s aide from April 2009. From April 3, 2010 – the Republic of Tatarstan President’s aide.

Midkhat Shagiakhmetov is a Doctor of Economics, the Republic of Tatarstan Deserved Economist.
