The nomination “Animation” has been decided to be resumed at the festival.

(Kazan, July 28, Tatar-Inform). The 6th Kazan International Muslim Film Festival will be held in Tatarstan capital on September 15-19 under the motto “Through the dialogue of cultures to the culture of dialogue”.

The Kazan festival organizing committee has received applications from 59 countries so far. Cinematographers from Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Great Britain, Canada, the U.S., France, India, the Netherlands, Russia, the CIS countries will be among the festival participants. Hong Kong film-makers have presented their works for the first time.

According to the number of sent films, leading countries are Iran, Egypt, Russia, India, and France.

The films submitted for the 6th Kazan International Muslim Film Festival are diverse in genres, The nomination “Animation” will be resumed at the festival this year, the festival organizing committee informs.
