Russian budget taxes and charges proceeds grow 30 percent

The bulk of the federal budget revenue, managed by the FTS, is secured by proceeds from the mineral replacement tax.

(Kazan, July 26, Tatar-inform). Proceeds from taxes and charges to Russia’s consolidated budget in January-June 2010 grew 30 percent versus the same period in 2009, totalling 3,739 billion roubles.

The federal budget revenue increased 38.8percent, to 1,556.9 billion roubles, territorial budget revenue increased 24.4 percent, to 2,182.1 billion roubles.

The bulk of the federal budget revenue managed by the FTS is secured by mineral replacement tax proceeds, 43 percent, added value tax proceeds, 42 percent, and profit tax proceeds, 8 percent, reports Interfax.

The corporate profit tax proceeds in the first half of 2010 totalled 117.5 billion roubles, which is commensurate with the first half of 2009’s revenues.

The added value tax on goods (work and services) sold inside Russia in January-June 2010 totalled 647.4 billion roubles, which is 17 percent more than in the first half of 2009.
