Private farmsteads will allocate five centners of grain per cow.

(Kazan, July 26, Tatar-inform, Irina Ignatieva). Private farmers in Tatarstan will be given about 200 million roubles in budget support. Five centners of grain will be allocated per cow at private farms, the Association of Farmers and Private Farmsteads chairman Kamiyar Baitemirov told Tatar-inform.

Private farmers keep 130 thousand cows. The allocated funds will be enough to buy 5 centners of grain per cow. According to Baitemirov, peasants will be able to lay in hay and straw for the coming winter by using their land shares they let to agricultural companies. They have, however, practically no place to buy grain from. The financial support, to be provided as grain forage, could not in this year’s anomalous heat have come at a better time.
