Halal industrial park to open in Tatarstan
The halal industrial park development was discussed by RT President and the minister at Malaysia PM’s Department in charge of parliamentary affairs.
(Kazan, July 24, Tatar-Inform, Kristina Ivanova). A memorandum on mutual understanding on development of the halal industrial park “Baltasi” was signed on Saturday at the Kazan Kremlin between Amanah Raya Berhad group (founder – the Malaysian Government) and investment-financial company Linova.
Amanah Raya Berhad managing head Ahmed Rodzi Pavante and President of the Non-commercial Fund for Islamic Business and Finances Development Linar Yakupov signed the documents. The signing ceremony took place during the meeting of Tatarstan president Rustam Minnikhanov and the Minister at Malaysia PM’s Department in charge of parliamentary affairs Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz.
The Malaysian delegation’s working visit began on July 23. The representatives of this country came to Kazan in late June to participate in the 2nd International Summit of Islamic Banking and Finances. A visit of RT president to Malaysia is being prepared at present. On Sunday the guests went to Baltasi region to examine the halal industrial park which is under construction.
Shariah ethic norms – refusal to drink alcoholic beverages, use foul language, etc. will be introduced in the industrial park. Residents must remember that their products will be certified.
