Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev accompanies the Russian Federation Minister of Agriculture Yelena Skrynnik during the working trip.

(Kazan, March 12, Tatar-inform). The Russian Federation Minister of Agriculture Yelena Skrynnik is on a working visit in Tatarstan today.

Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev, Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Vice-Premier – Minister of Agriculture and Foodstuff Marat Akhmetov are accompanying her during the trip.

Yelena Skrynnik visits a breed livestock farm for 850 pigs and a selection-hybrid centre for 3700 sows OOO “Kamsky Bekon”. Then the minister is to visit OOO Chelny-Broiler where she will examine the incubation workshop, the processing complex, and attend an exhibition of the output. Another destination in the schedule is a premix plant – a joint venture with the Dutch company DSM.

The plenary session “Providing industrial production of meat in the Russian federation as part of the state programme for agricultural development and regulating agricultural production markets for 2008-2012” will take place in Tukaevsky Region of Tatarstan later today.
