St. Patrick’s Day will be celebrated at Tukai Tatar State Philharmonics in Kazan.

(Kazan, March 12, Tatar-inform, Lutsia Kamalova). A concert dedicated to the Irish national holiday – St. Patrick's Day (which is celebrated all over the world on March 17) will take place at Tukai Tatar State Philharmonics tomorrow.

The Irish Dance Theatre “Sonas” will dance to the accompaniment of “Romantika” symphonic orchestra”. It is the first time Irish dances will be performed to live music in Russia, the organizers said.

Ethnic-jazz trio “Lovely Madness”, ethnic drums school “EthnoArt”, St. Cecilia Choir and the Philharmonics soloists will play for Kazan audience.

“We had planned this concert long ago. Audience is always very welcoming to ethnic music. It should be taken into account that the Universiade will take place in Kazan in the near future and cultural programmes of participant countries will be sought-after,” the project author Natalia Sytikova told Tatar-inform.
