There is a plan to organize Cirque du Soleil street show in Kazan, Ilsur Metshin informed.

(Kazan, March 11, Tatar-inform, Kristina Ivanova). The tour of the world-wide known Canadian Cirque du Soleil will increase tourism attractiveness of Tatarstan capital.

Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin expressed this opinion after having signed the Memorandum on cultural cooperation between Kazan Mayor’s Office and Cirque du Soleil Rus company today. According to the agreement, 44 shows “Corteo” of Cirque du Soleil will be given in Kazan on August 21-September 26, 2010.

There is a project of organizing summer street show of Cirque du Soleil in Kazan, Ilsur Metshin informed. “We would like to realize this project before the Universiade-2013,” the mayor said.

Tourists flow to Quebec increased five times after Cirque du Soleil tour, Ilsur Metshin said. He expressed hope that Cirque du Soleil shows in Tatarstan capital will provide a ground for enhancing tourism attractiveness of Kazan.
