Young pianists of Kazan won in A. Rubinstein contest in St. Petersburg.

(Kazan, March 20, Tatar-inform, Lucia Kamalova). A student of the Secondary Special Music School at Kazan State Conservatoire Lidia Kudryavtseva won the first place in A. Rubinstein international contest. The musical competition “Miniature in Russian music” took place in St. Petersburg in February.

Another student of the school at Kazan State Conservatoire, Karina Sabitova, took the second place. Young talents from Kazan performed compositions by P. Chaikovsky, A. Skryabin, S. Rakhmaninov, and S. Prokofyev.
