(Nizhnekamsk, March 10, Tatar-inform). A substantial increase in the Taneko oil refining and petrochemical site construction was despite bad weather achieved in February. The Taneko general director Khamza Bagmanov said it in a statement to a construction staff meeting, attended by Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

According to Bagmanov, a total of 2.120 billion roubles had been disbursed over the month. A growth of 71 percent versus January was seen in underground communication lines, of 36 percent in land pipelines. The assembly of interplant trestles increased two and a half times. Personnel at the construction site over the month increased 1,500 people.

March is likely to be even more intensive, construction and assembly planned in the amount of 2.651 billion roubles. To meet the March targets, the companies Neftegazengineering, Kazan, Kamgesenergostroi and Tatstroi have to assemble 132.4 kilometres in industrial pipelines and leave the site to Tatelektromontazh, to assemble cable trays. The management company Glazneftegazstroiservis will assemble 5.2 kilometres in underground pipelines, Invent will before 20 March make a temporary storm drainage system, while Tatelektromontazh will assemble 112.6 kilometres in cable trays and lay 15.4 kilometres in high-voltage cable.

In April, construction and assembly is expected to cross the 3-billion mark. The project’s investor, Tatneft, fully meets its obligations and provides timely funding. The Taneko’s press service said in a release dispensed today quotes Rustam Minnikhanov as saying the employees engaged at the construction should be increased to 10 thousand, as contractors will not be able to cope with the tasks without mobilising sufficient personnel.
