Grigory Rapota will hold a meeting with chairmen of the Volga Federal Region Muslim religious boards.

(Kazan, March 9, Tatar-inform). Russia President’s Plenipotentiary representative in the Volga Federal Region, Grigory Rapota will hold a meeting with chairmen of Muslim religious boards situated on the Volga Federal Region territory. Tatarstan Mufti Gusman khazrat Iskhakov will take part in the meeting.

Tatarstan Muslim Religious Board press-service reports the meeting will take place in Cheboksary city, Chivashia. The meeting agenda will focus the issue “On tasks of cooperation between Muslim organizations and government authorities in preservation of Russia’s spiritual and religious traditions, opposition to negative influence of foreign radial-extremist movements”.
