Finland gives Russia info on suspects in Arctic Sea seizure - Bastrykin

Bastrykin said in an interview with Rossiiskaya Gazeta a month earlier that the investigation into this high-profile crime had entered its final stage.

(Kazan, March 9, Tatar-inform). Finland has handed the federal prosecutor's Investigation Committee information about suspects in the seizure of the Arctic Sea dry-cargo vessel with Russian crewmembers aboard last summer, Investigation Committee head Alexander Bastrykin has announced, reports Interfax.

"We have received evidence and information from the Finish side on the suspects in the ship's piratical seizure, including about the organizer of this crime," Bastrykin said during talks with Finnish Police Director General Mikko Paatero on Tuesday.
