Nalich and his group were the best of 25 finalists and received the highest score of 20.9 points.

(Kazan, March 9, Tatar-inform). Russian singer Pyotr Nalich’s No. 13 and a song about unhappy love “Lost and Forgotten” have won him a pass to the Eurovision 2010 song contest in the national qualification round.

Nalich and his group were the best of 25 finalists and received the highest score of 20.9 points. The Eurovision 2010 song contest will be held in Norway on May 25-29.

“The idea of applying for participation in the contest came spontaneously … Our friends advised us to go and we thought, why not,” Nalich is quoted as saying by Itar-Tass. “We agree that our group does not quite fit into the ‘format’ of the contest, but we want to show that pop music is much richer,” he said.
