(Kazan, March 9, Tatar-inform). The Finance magazine has, in the run-up to March 8, made the second ranking of the Russian top 50 business women. The Bahetle food retailer general director Muslima Latypova was placed on the 32nd position in the list.

The research memo reads that the second list contains many new names. The list has in general altered by a third. The ranking is topped by the Inteko company’s president, wife of the Mayor of Moscow Elena Baturina. The second position is taken by the ex wife of Evgeny Kaspersky, Natalia, general director of Infowatch. The top three is concluded by the Transaero general director Olga Pleshakova.

The list includes many top managers from Lukoil, Gazprom (the ranking compilers link this to the growth in energy prices), banks, cellular communication companies and plants – they are presidents, managers and chief accountants.

Finance magazine considered three factors, including the size of the business a woman is related to as a manager or/and a shareholder, the influence of her position. Based on the method, a business owner and manager with yearly revenue of up to 5 billion roubles could compete with a hired general director of an industrial giant. Shareholders of lager entities were given an advantage. And correction factors for the state of a particular industry or company. Personal achievements were assessed in grades for position/status.
