Heads of the Kazan-2013 Directorate met with the International University Sports Federation management.

(Kazan, March 5, Tatar-inform). Heads of the Kazan-2013 Directorate met with the International University Sports Federation management.

The working meeting took place in Brussels. The agenda focused on preparation for the World Student Games in Kazan, the Universiade Directorate press-service informs.

“Kazan-2013” executive directorate was represented at the meeting by Executive Director Vladimir Leonov, Deputy Executive Director Azat Kadyrov and head of the international department Eugenia Yakina. FISU Secretary General/CEO Erik Saintroind, FISU Director of Summer Universiades Mark Vandenplas, FISU Media and Communication Director Dejan Susovic and others represented the international federation.

The following topics were discussed at the meeting: general plan of preparation for the Games in Kazan, the Univerdsiade-2013 budget, key events, structure of organization and management system, programme of sports, television broadcasting of the competitions, and air communication.

“More than two years before the event, the Kazan OC is getting more and more involved in the Universiade preparation process,” FISU website states.
