R. Minnikhanov: The number of workers employed at Taneko construction has to be increased

The head of government has toured the Taneko plants construction in Nizhnekamsk.
(Kazan, March 4, Tatar-inform). Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has today visited the oil refining and petrochemical plants under construction in Nizhnekamsk, reports the Cabinet of Ministers’s press service.The head of Tatar government examined the sulphur production site, construction of treatment facilities, interdepartmental ramps and the pump station. Minnikhanov and the accompanying persons visited the fire department and the Phase 1 (CDU/VDU 7 ) off-site building and others.
A meeting on the Taneko oil refining and petrochemical construction was then held, chaired by Tatarstan Construction Minister Marat Khusnullin. The Taneko general director Khamza Bagmanov reported on the current state, February results and tasks for March, as well as on prospects for the next three months. The meeting discussed performance against the schedule, carrying out the thematic tasks in February 2010.
Prime Minister Minnikhanov noted that to fulfil the set tasks and meet the targets in April-May, the number of employed workers had to be increased. In his words, the number should be raised to 10 thousand. Minnikhanov thinks it should allow use the spring-summer construction season to the full.
Attendees at the meeting were the Nizhnekamsk municipal district head Aidar Metshin, Tatneft first deputy general director Nail Maganov, representatives from the Fluor company, as well as from contractors and sub-contractors.
