Danis Zaripov of HC Ak Bars to be awarded as Russia’s best athlete

(Kazan, March 3, Tatar-inform). Rewarding ceremony of winners of the all-Russian contest organized by Russia Ministry of Sports, Tourism and Youth Policy will be held on March 10 in Moscow as part of the international exhibition “Sport 10”.

HC Ak Bars and FC Rubin have been awarded the title “Sports Team of the Year” in winter and summers sports group.

Ak Bars forward, Honoured Master of Sports Danis Zaripov has become athlete of the year in winter sports group. “A very pleasant event in my career, I must say. It’s the first time I am recognized as athlete of the year. I would like to say words of gratitude to those who evaluated my work despite the fact that the season doesn’t go very well so far,” Tatarstan Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism press-service quotes Danis Zaripov as saying.
