Universiade-2013 volunteers to undertake internship in Canada and Great Britain

(Kazan, March 2, Tatar-inform). Kazan World Summer Universiade-2013 volunteers will undertake internship in Canada and Great Britain. Such agreement was achieved during Tatarstan delegation’s working trip to the 21st Winter Olympics.

Tatarstanians held some meetings with Simon Fraser University representatives in Vancouver, the Games-2013 Directorate press-service informs. According to results of the talks, it was decided to send a group of the Universiade-2013 volunteers to take master-classes at the university. Moreover, Kazan representatives will take part in organization of the Summer Olympics-2012 in London.

Day of Kazan event was organized in Vancouver as part of the Russian House thematic days. It attracted much attention of athletes, tourists and Canadians. The Universiade-2013 Directorate managers and Tatarstan Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism held a press-conference for the world sports public with participation of Russia Deputy Minister of Sports, Tourism and Youth Policy, and Russian Hockey Federation President Vladislav Tretyak.

Tatarstan representatives also had an opportunity to examine the International broadcasting centre, the Olympic Village, which is considered to be one of the best in terms of infrastructure, and other Olympic sites.
