Rustam Minnikhanov meets Mexico ambassador to Russia

Tatarstan Prime Minister gave a commission to determine several “anchor” projects at the meeting with Mexico ambassador.
(Kazan, Fberuary 26, Tatar-inform). The Republic of Tatarstan Prime Minister, Rustam Minnikhanov, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mexico to the Russian Federation, Alfredo Perez Bravo, on February 26 at Tatarstan Government House.Cooperation in certain economic fields was discussed at the meeting, RT Cabinet of Ministers press-service informs.
Mr Perez Bravo expressed gratitude for the warm welcome he received in the republic.
At the meeting with Tatarstan Prime Minister, Mexico ambassador stated he was interested in cooperation with Tatarstan as one of the Russian Federation subjects. According to his words, business relations between Russia and Mexico are well-established at present. But now it’s time to find partners not only in Moscow, but also in other Regions. He suggested determining two-three Russian regions and working on closer relations with them in order to consolidate Russian-Mexican cooperation.
Alfredo Perez Bravo mentioned such fields as jet and helicopter building, exchanging technologies in oil production and oil-refining, cultural exchange.
Within the framework of the meeting with Mexico Ambassador, Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov gave commission to determine several “anchor” projects, which would interest both parties.
It is the ambassador’s second visit to our republic. This time, Alfredo Perez Bravo visited the Days of Mexico and Mexican Culture at Kazan State University.
