Conrad Murray has pleaded not guilty to charges of involuntary manslaughter.

(Kazan, February 9, Tatar-inform). Michael Jackson’s former doctor Conrad Murray has pleaded not guilty to charges of involuntary manslaughter.

At an LA courthouse amid tight security, prosecutors allege Murray “unlawfully and without malice” killed Jackson after giving the star a lethal cocktail of drugs, according to a report by Euronews.net.

The doctor has been the focus of a police probe for months, since a coroner ruled that the 50-year-old singer’s death on June 25 was a homicide by drug overdose, mainly caused by the powerful anaesthetic Propofol.

However, the cardiologist insists he did nothing wrong even though he has admitted giving Jackson the drug to help him sleep. Murray faces up to four years in prison.
