The economic effect from implementing new seed production system has been 5,389.3 million roubles.

(Kazan, February 5, Tatar-inform, Irina Ignatieva). The Selected Grain of Tatarstan association has summarised its performance over 12 years. The economic effect from putting in operation a new seed production system has been 5,389.3 million roubles, told Tatar-inform the entity’s general director Yuri Yerov.

A total of 5.224 million roubles was generated in extra profits owing to implementing new sorts and high-quality grain. The increased productivity of new sorts, introduced over the past 10 yeas, has provided an extra 1,030.1 thousand tonnes of grain for the total of 3,604.9 million roubles. The enhanced quality of grain, resulting from using new types of machinery, allowed to gather an extra 502.5 thousand tonnes of grain for the total of 1,619.3 million roubles. A total of 366 tonnes of metal worth 10.7 million roubles was saved due to manufcaturing new-generation machines.
